Reality-TV-Zuschauer kennen Daniela Büchner schon lange, aber abseits der Kameras hat sie früh einiges wegstecken müssen. Ihre erste Ehe ging sie noch sehr jung ein, mit ihrer großen Liebe Yılmaz. Geheiratet wurde in der Türkei, mit dem Gefühl, dass das für immer hält. Doch 2007 war Schluss. Besonders bitter: Nur zwei Jahre nach der Trennung starb Yılmaz. Für Daniela war das ein Einschnitt, der nachwirkt.
Erst rund zehn Jahre später ließ sie wieder jemanden an sich ran. 2017 heiratete sie Schlagerstar Jens Büchner, und zusammen packten sie das Familienabenteuer Mallorca an. Mit den Kindern bauten sie sich dort ein neues Leben auf, inklusive eigenem Café. Aber das Glück hatte einen kurzen Atem: Jens starb nur wenige Monate später an Lungenkrebs. Für sie folgte damit ein weiterer harter Schlag.
