The Ring That Changed Everything for Birgit Schrowange and Frank Spothelfer, 3 Years In
For years, the former “Extra, Das RTL Magazin” host was a familiar face on TV, but she took the scenic route in love. Birgit didn’t stumble into a fairytale at 25; she found it at 62, which is iconic. She spent years with Markus Lanz; they share a son but never married. Her later relationship felt like a well-earned plot twist.
She’s now been with the entrepreneur for three years, fitting her life perfectly. This time, it sounds serious as he’s popped the question. Friends wonder if she’s heading toward marriage now. According to the actor, Frank makes everything feel lighter and keeps her youthful, feeling more like 30. Not bad for a relationship that arrived right on time.
