Auch wenn Dieter Bohlen nie dick war, hatte er in den letzten Jahren ein paar Kilos zugelegt. Auch wenn er eigentlich kein Übergewicht hatte, denn mit 1,83m knapp über 80 Kilo zu wiegen, entspricht eigentlich einem Idealgewicht, wollte er etwas für seine Gesundheit tun. Er entschied sich dazu ganz ohne Zucker zu leben und stellte seine Ernährung dazu um.
So hat er ganze 10 Kilo abgenommen, was ihm aber einen etwas ungesunden Anblick gab und er selbst holte sich ein paar Kilos wieder zurück, um auch sein sehr aktives Leben mit „Deutschland sucht den Superstar“ und vielen weiteren Projekten bewältigen zu können.
