Als Susan Boyle zum ersten Mal in Jahr 2009 bei „Britain´sGot Talent“ im Fernsehen erschien, war sie nicht nur altmodisch gekleidet, sondern hatte auch ein paar Kilos zu viel auf den Hüften, die sie bisher nicht zu sehr gestört hatten.
Jedoch als sie an Diabetes erkrankte, erkannte sie, dass sie aufhören musste, Süßigkeiten zu essen, die laut eigenen Angaben, ihre große Schwäche sind. Neben einem großen Wandel in ihrem Look, hat sie auch beeindruckende 20 Kilo abgenommen, indem sie Zucker aus ihrer Ernährung verbannte und heute nicht nur ein viel gesünderes Leben lebt, sondern auch eine Topfigur zeigen kann.
