Blake Livelyhat mit ihrem Ehemann, dem auch Schauspieler Ryan Reynolds bereits 3 Kinder und die Schwangerschaften brachten auch ihr, obwohl sie eine eigentlich topschlanke Frau ist, einige Kilos auf die Hüften. Sie hat es dennoch geschafft nur kurz nachdem sie ihre Tochter auf die Welt gebracht hatte 27 Kilos abzuspecken, um den Film „The Shallows“ nur im Bikini zu drehen.
Sie hatte dabei Hilfe des Trainers Don Saladino, der ihr nicht nur eine sehr strenge, aber ausgewogene Diät verordnete, sondern mit ihr auch hart trainierte, um in diesem Film eine Topfigur zu machen und alle Spuren der Schwangerschaft zu entfernen.
