Gabourey Sidibe, 37, Schauspielerin
Gabourey Sidibe wurde als junge Schauspielerin im Jahr 2009 für die Rolle ihres Lebens in “Precious – Das Leben ist kostbar“ ausgewählt und das zwar aufgrund ihres Talents, doch auch wegen ihres fülligen Körpers. Dadurch wurde sie nicht nur berühmt, sondern auch für einen Oscar nominiert und das in ihrer ersten großen Filmrolle. Da sie nicht nur Essstörungen hatte, sondern auch dabei war Depressionen und Diabetes zu entwickeln, wurde ihr selbst bewusst, dass sie etwas an ihrem Gewicht ändern musste.
Sie ließ sich ein Magenband einsetzen und nahm somit stolze 68 Kilo ab. Mit den Kilos schwanden auch ihre Erkrankungen und sie ist heute nicht nur schlanker, sondern auch viel gesünder.
