Bekannt wurde die Sängerin durch die 10. Staffel von „Deutschland sucht den Superstar“, danach ging es für sie steil bergauf. Aus dem TV-Moment entstand eine Karriere, die in der Schweiz, Deutschland, und Österreich erfolgreich ist. Heute taucht sie häufig im Fernseher auf, besonders im Schweizer TV, wo sie auch als Moderatorin arbeitet. Sie ist längst mehr als „die DSDS-Gewinnerin“, sondern ein fester Name in der Schlagerwelt und im TV, mit einer entspannten Präsenz.
Statt schweren Glam setzt sie normalerweise auf natürliches Make-up, was zu ihrem bodenständigen Auftreten passt. In Interviews und Auftritten wirkt sie selten abgehoben. Privat verbringt sie gern Zeit mit Freunden und in der Natur, ohne großes Aufheben. Man sieht sie oft ungeschminkt, was sie offen zeigt. Auf Social Media präsentiert sie sich entspannt und ehrlich, ohne Angst vor ungestylten Fotos.
