Diane Keaton è entrata nella scena di Hollywood negli anni ’70 con il suo primo ruolo da protagonista nell’iconico “Il padrino” del 1972 prima di continuare a fare magie cinematografiche con il regista (e l’amore di una volta nella vita reale) Woody Allen in “Play It Ancora una volta, Sam “quello stesso anno. Il suo legame con Woody è rimasto forte e i due hanno continuato a lavorare insieme altre sette volte in successi come “Annie Hall” del 1977 e “Manhattan” del 1979. Da quel momento, ha continuato a affermarsi come attrice drammatica, ottenendo nomination agli Oscar per film come “Reds” nel 1981, “Marvin’s Room” nel 1996 e “Something’s Gotta Give” nel 2003.
