Ein Geheimnis kommt ans Licht
Mit einem freundlichen Lächeln, aber entschlossenem Blick gab sie mir den Ring zurück. Kaum drehte ich ihn in den Fingern, fiel auch mir die Gravur ins Auge. Sie war zart, fast unsichtbar – und doch eindeutig da. Die Buchstaben und Zahlen schimmerten im Licht, als wollten sie mir etwas mitteilen. „Haben Sie das all die Jahre nicht bemerkt?“, fragte die Juwelierin, aber ich war mit den Gedanken woanders.
Ungläubig starrte ich auf die Gravur. Sie passte weder zu unserem Hochzeitsdatum noch zu einem anderen besonderen Ereignis, das mir einfiel. Es war, als hätte der Ring eine geheime Seite, die sich erst jetzt offenbarte. Doch was bedeutete das?
