Kirstie Louise Alley es una modelo, productora, actriz y personalidad de la televisión estadounidense. Rebecca Howe fue su papel más destacado en la exitosa comedia de la NBC Cheers. Kristie llegó a ganar un premio Emmy y un Globo de Oro en 1991 por este papel. También obtuvo otras nominaciones a los Emmy y a los Globos de Oro por su actuación en Veronica’s Closet.
Kristie debutó en el cine en Star Trek II: La ira de Khan como la oficial vulcana de la Flota Estelar, la teniente Saavik. A partir de ahí, apareció en varias películas y comenzó una exitosa carrera en la industria cinematográfica. Alley se casó con su novio del instituto, Bob Alley, en 1970. La pareja adoptó dos hijos, Wilson y Lillie.
