In February 2021, Pete Buttigieg became the most influential United States Transportation Secretary. He became in charge of overseeing a massive $200-billion bill. It was right about his time of appointment to the cabinet that he decided to sell his South Bend, Indiana, humble abode.
Buttigieg listed his former house in March 2021 and sold it quickly to a theater director for an undisclosed price. The LGTQ Nation website states that the house cost the promising American politician a mere $125K over ten years ago. Other news outlets reported that Buttigieg’s mortgage sat at $450 per month.
