Nancy McFarlane appears to be having a good time outside of politics. The same may not be said for her successor, Mary-Ann Baldwin, who faces protests for “gentrification” in 2021. Nancy is a pharmacist who lives in one of the most expensive homes in Raleigh.
She bought her home in 2013 from civic leader Gregory Poole Jr. for a price tag of $2.1 million. The house may be valued higher given its unique features. It sits on 3,921 square feet of space and has a beautiful garden. The home, built in 1991 by the Poole family, had undergone massive improvements over the years before Nancy and her family took it up.
