Cynthia Nixon and Christine Marinoni – Together Since 2004
In 2001, while advocating for New York’s public school system, Cynthia Nixon met Christine Marinoni, an education activist. Their friendship deepened, and in 2004, they began a romantic relationship. Cynthia, renowned for her role as Miranda Hobbes in “S** and the City,” had previously been in a long-term relationship with Danny Mozes, with whom she has two children.
Embracing her evolving identity, Cynthia and Christine became engaged in 2009 during a rally for marriage equality. They married in May 2012, shortly after New York legalized gay marriage. The couple welcomed their son, Max, in February 2011. Cynthia has two older children, Samuel and Charles, from her previous relationship.
