A blind date in 2003 set the stage for Erin Burnett, CNN’s sharp-tongued anchor, and David Rubulotta, a managing director at Citigroup, to begin their romance. After eight years of dating, David popped the question in September 2011, and they sealed the deal in a low-key City Hall ceremony in December 2012.
Their brood includes Nyle Thomas, born November 29, 2013; Colby Isabelle, who arrived on July 18, 2015; and Owen Thomas, who was welcomed on August 20, 2018. Despite their high-profile careers, the family keeps a relatively private profile, with Erin once sharing that their children are “very lucky” to have each other.
