Lisa Whelchel appeared in The New Mickey Mouse Club when she was young. She gained widespread attention for her role as Blair Warner on The Facts of Life. She also had a career as a musician and released her album All Because of You, which garnered her a Grammy Award for Best Inspirational Performance. In 2000, Whelchel started giving inspirational speeches at conferences and churches. In addition to this, Whelchel is an author as well. She has published some books, including So You’re Thinking About Homeschooling, Creative Correction, and more. For the latter, she was graced with a Golden Medallion nomination.
