Canadian actor Rick Moranis began his career as a radio disc-jockey. He was then offered a role in the comedy series Second City Television. He is also remembered for appearing in several Hollywood movies such as Ghostbusters, My Blue Heaven, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, and more. Moranis lost his wife, Ann Belsky, to cancer and later took a long break from acting to devote his time to kids. After a considerable time, he appeared in specific roles, including Martin Scorsese–directed Second City TV reunion documentary, An Afternoon with SCTV. To make sure his kids did not feel alone, the actor made many sacrifices in terms of his career.
