Mike Vitar | Known For: The Sandlot | Current Job: Firefighter
People familiar with the 1990s movies must know Mike Vitar, who started acting at the age of 12. He is well-known for his portrayal of the character Benjamin Franklin ‘Benny the Jet’ Rodriguez in the comedy film The Sandlot. Additionally, he also played the role of Luis Mendoza in the two Mighty Ducks film. Even though he gained fame and recognition, Vitar retired from acting in 1997. Currently, he is working as a firefighter with the Los Angeles Fire Department. This is another shocking career switch, but you never know what someone might be interested in doing. Vitar is still winning hearts with his career as a firefighter.
