Peter Ostrum | Known For: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory | Current Job: Veterinary Doctor
Peter Ostrum was the young boy who landed Charlie Bucket’s role in the famous motion picture Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Ostrum was only 12-years-old at the time, and this musical turned out to be his first and last experience in Hollywood. While shooting the film, Ostrum developed a keen interest in horses and later got his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. As of now, he works with the Countryside Veterinary Clinic in New York City and mainly operates on cows and horses. We bet you might never have come across such an extreme career switch.
