Former American actress Phoebe Cates is popular for acting in several films, including Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Drop Dead Fred, and Gremlins. Cate was only ten when she started modeling and has been featured in teen magazines like Seventeen. Her career in acting began with performing in the film Paradise. In 1994, Cates quit acting to take care of her kids. But she has moved on to a new profession since then. Cates is working as an entrepreneur and operates her boutique, Blue Tree, situated on Madison Avenue. She is married to actor Kevin Kline whom she met at an audition.
