People remember Nikki Blonsky for her role in the film The Hairspray, in which she sang her heart out as the character Tracy Turnblad. She bagged a Critics’ Choice Award for this role besides being nominated for a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award. You might have also seen her in the series Huge. Nonetheless, Blonsky did not get any other significant role other than these. After gaining a cosmetology license, Blonsky started working as a hairstylist and a makeup artist in New York City while applying for auditions. Most recently, she started posting video blogs on her Instagram.
