Die ruhige Spannung des Moments
Es war auffallend leer in der Apotheke. Kein anderes Geräusch war zu hören, abgesehen von Marians leisen Schritten, die über den Boden hallten. Allein mit ihren Gedanken und dem überwachten Raum, in dem jeder Schritt zählte. Sie atmete ruhig ein und aus – in dieser Situation war es wichtig, die Ruhe zu bewahren. Jegliche Unruhe war gefährlich, also bewegte sie sich unauffällig zur Theke, nannte den Code und wartete gespannt.
Der Apotheker blickte sie mit einem kritischen, aber nicht ganz unfreundlichen Blick an. Der Moment schien eine Ewigkeit zu dauern, dann nickte er langsam und verschwand hinter den Türen zum Lager.
