Jacques Mézard – PRG – Environ 1,1 million d’euros
Avec un diplôme en droit de l’université Panthéon-Assas en poche, Jacques Mézard a commencé par exercer le métier d’avocat pendant 37 ans avant d’entrer en politique. Devenu sénateur du Cantal en 2008, il cumule ce mandat avec la présidence de la communauté d’agglomération d’Aurillac. En 2017, Mézard devient ministre de l’Agriculture puis de la Cohésion des territoires sous Emmanuel Macron. Il perçoit un traitement ministériel et une retraite d’avocat mais voit cesser ses indemnités de sénateur.
Ces nominations l’amènent également à déclarer son patrimoine à l’époque, ce qui révèle que sa fortune se situe autour de 1,1 millions d’euros. C’est au Conseil constitutionnel que Jacques Mézard siège depuis 2019, mêlant son expertise juridique avec son engagement politique.
