Jack White – Musiker-Villa in Detroit
Als Gitarrist und Sänger von The White Stripes wurde Jack White zur Rock-Ikone, nicht zuletzt dank des Welthits “Seven Nation Army“. Die Band stammt aus Detroit, und genau dort besaß Jack bis vor Kurzem eine großzügige Villa im Wert von etwa 1,2 Millionen Dollar. In dem Haus entstanden viele kreative Projekte, und er lernte dort zahlreiche Musiker kennen, die ihn prägten.
Aber: Inzwischen hat er Detroit den Rücken gekehrt und lebt in Nashville, wo er seine musikalische Laufbahn fortsetzt, unter anderem mit “The Dead Weather” und als Solokünstler. Aber was ist mit dem Haus in Detroit? Das wurde verkauft und vielleicht gab es etwas Rock’n’Roll-Spirit obendrauf.
