Susan is a winner of Miss Redlands, Miss California Beauty and was chosen as the Most Promising Faces of 1979. Later on, Susan starred in several TV series like Baywatch, Queer Eye, The Larry Sanders Show, and films, especially GoldenGirl where she got nominated for Golden Globe Awards for her epic performance.
