Jerry Seinfeld frecuentaba un Reebok Sports Club en 1998 y ahí es donde puso sus ojos en Jessica Sklar. Acababa de regresar de su luna de miel con su nuevo esposo, Eric Nederlander pero finalmente se separaron y Sklar se casó con Seinfield.
Más tarde explicó que su matrimonio con Nederlander ya estaba en las rocas y terminaron las cosas amigablemente. Ella ha estado casada con Seinfeld durante 20 años y su familia de cinco incluye a sus tres hijos.
