Linda Blair
Linda Blair is a well-known American actress and activist best known for playing Regan MacNeil in the horror film The Exorcist, released in 1973. Linda won a Golden Globe Award and received a nomination from Academy Awards for her acting in The Exorcist. Blair’s performance established her as a horror icon, and she reprised the role again in the 1977 Exorcist II: The Heretic, for which she was nominated for Saturn Award.
Besides her acting career, she also works to help animals. She founded the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation in 2004, a non-profit organization that rehabilitates and adopts rescued animals. Moreover, Linda co-authored the book Going Vegan, published in 2001.
