Melissa Gilbert
Melissa Gilbert kickstarted her acting career during the ’70s when she was cast for the role of Laura Ingalls Wilder in the TV show Little House on the Prairie. Later on, the actress appeared in The Miracle Worker and The Diary of Anne Frank. Earning big money and being famous unfortunately didn’t make for a great total asset formula for Gilbert since she started battling substance abuse and sadly spent half of her fortune on rehabilitation center, leaving only $500K in her wallet. These days, Gilbert is very much involved in raising awareness of drug addiction and helping those who are fighting this awful habit to overcome it.
