Sicherlich ist Anke Engelke eine der vielseitigsten Entertainerinnen Deutschlands. Ob als Komikerin, Moderatorin, Schauspielerin oder Synchronsprecherin, seit Jahrzehnten prägt sie die deutsche Unterhaltung. Doch trotz Ruhm und Vermögen bleibt die in Kanada geborene Deutsche erstaunlich bodenständig.
Während viele Promis in Villen oder Luxuslofts leben, wohnt Anke in einer ganz normalen Wohnung in Köln. Kein Palast, kein Pomp, sondern ein Zuhause, das zu ihrer unprätentiösen Art passt. Auch beim Thema Mobilität setzt sie auf Alltag statt Glamour. Zwar besitzt sie ein Elektroauto, doch das bleibt oft stehen. Angeblich steigt Anke lieber in die Straßenbahn und fährt damit durch die Stadt wie jeder andere auch.
