Kaum ein Name ist so eng mit den Schattenseiten von Berlin verbunden wie Christiane F. Ende der 70er-Jahre machten zwei “Stern“-Reporter ihr Leben bekannt und das Buch “Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo” wurde ein Bestseller und später verfilmt. Plötzlich kannte sie jeder, doch der Ruhm war kein Segen.
Christiane versuchte sich an einer Musikkarriere und schrieb später sogar ihre Autobiografie, die zum Erfolg wurde. Doch von ihrer Vergangenheit und ihrer Heimat in der Gropiusstadt konnte sie sich nie wirklich lösen. Bis heute lebt sie dort, wo ihre Geschichte einst begann, zwischen grauen Hochhäusern. Es ist ein Leben, das zeigt, wie eng Erfolg und Abgrund beieinander liegen können.
