Die deutsche Franka Potente hattte ihren ersten Auftritt in der Filmkomödie After Five in the Forest Primeval, aus der sie auch den Bayerischen Filmpreis als beste Nachwuchsdarstellerin gewann. Seit mehreren Jahren lebt sie gemeinsam mit Ehemann Derek Richardson und ihren beiden Töchtern, Polly, die 2011 geboren wurde und Georgie, die 2014 zur Welt kam, in Los Angeles. Von den beiden Töchtern sieht Polly ihrer Mutter besonders ähnlich. Ob sie deshalb später auch einmal in die Fussstapfen ihrer berühmten Mama treten wird, das wird sich in der Zukunft zeigen.
