Georg Uecker
Der Schauspieler Georg Uecker ist nicht nur im echten Leben schwul, sondern hat auch eine schwule Figur in der Lindenstraße verkörpert. Georg steht offen zu seiner Sexualität und ist auch politisch und gesellschaftlich stark engagiert was diese angeht. Für sein besonders starkes Engagement gegen AIDS wurde er sogar ausgezeichnet. Der Schauspieler lebt selbst seit dem Jahr 1993 mit HIV, was aber erst vor kurzem öffentlich bekannt wurde. Darüber hinaus wurde er auch mit der Krankheit Lymphdrüsenkrebs diagnostiziert. Für seine Rolle als Dr. Carsten Flöter in der Lindenstraße wurde er zweifach ausgezeichnet, beide Male mit einem der wichtigsten deutschen Preise: Ein “Bambi” und eine “Goldene Kamera”.
