Thomas Hitzlsperger
Die Fußballkarriere des ehemaligen Nationalspielers Thomas Hitzlsperger endete 2014 und er bekannte sich im gleichen Jahr zu seiner Sexualität. Er ist einer einer wenigen professionellen Sportler, die sich öffentlich als homosexuell bekannt haben. Seitdem er nicht mehr selbst spielt, ist er als Fußballexperte für einige Fernsehsender tätig und verfolgt dabei wichtige Ereignisse in der deutschen Fußballwelt. In seiner Fußballerkarriere war er Spieler im VfB-Stuttgart und verhalf dem Verein nicht nur zur Meisterschaft sondern auch dazu mehrfach gut platziert zu werden bei der Weltmeisterschaft. Heute ist Thomas Sportdirektor des VfB und engagiert sich sozial in unterschiedlichen Organisationen.
