Lena Valaitis – 77 Years
The Lithuanian singer Lena Valaitis was a natural musical talent from an early age. Her parents recognized her talent and so she got singing lessons. With a record deal at the age of 26 and the release of her first song, she was able to make a name for herself on the German Schlager scene in the 1970s. She then began a steep career with “Halt das Glück für uns” (“Hold the luck for us”), from which she was quite successful, especially on the German market, until the 1990s. In 1993 she retired, but it didn’t last long and very soon she was giving concerts again.
