Karin Baal – Alter 81 Jahre
Die 81-Jährige war jung, blond, frech – eine Schönheit mit Katzenaugen, bei der jeder Mann zur Beute wurde. Berühmt wurde sie mit dem Kult-Film „Die Halbstarken“ und mit 15 Jahren zum Idol der Nachkriegsjugend. Mittlerweile blickt sie auf ein Leben voller Kontraste zurück, hin- und hergerissen zwischen Glück und Niederlagen, Verzweiflung und Ruhm – den sie eigentlich nie wollte. Karin Baal lebt nun in Berlin-Charlottenburg und bekommt eine kleine Rente. „Ich arbeite nicht mehr. Es ist alles so unpersönlich geworden. Maschinell.“ Nichtsdestotrotz will sie von Selbstmitleid nichts wissen: „Ich lebe immer noch gern. Innerlich bin ich nicht anders als früher, als ganz junge Frau.“
