OLAF LUDWIG – 62 JAHRE
Olaf Ludwig ist ein ehemaliger deutscher Radrennfahrer und Olympiasieger im Radsport. In den 1980er und 1990er Jahren war er einer der erfolgreichsten Deutschen in dieser Sportart. Er gewann als Profi insgesamt drei Etappen der Tour de France und einmal die Sprintwertung um das grüne Trikot. Nach dem Ende seiner Profikarriere war Olaf Ludwig in den Jahre 1999/2000 Vizepräsident des Bundes Deutscher Radfahrer (BDR) und später Pressesprecher des Teams Telekom. Einige Jahre später gab er bekannt, die Zusammenarbeit zu beenden. Seitdem organisiert Ludwig gemeinsam mit dem früheren Friedensfahrt-Organisator Jörg Strenger Radtouristik-Fahrten. Er ist mittlerweile wieder in Gera ansässig.
