Katrin Göring-Eckardt und Michael Göring
Katrin Göring-Eckardt hat sich politisch voll und ganz dem Umwelt- und Klimaschutz verschrieben und zählt seit Jahren zu den prägenden Gesichtern der Grünen. Während sie in der Politik für Veränderung kämpfte, war ihr Privatleben lange Zeit von Beständigkeit geprägt. Von 1988 bis 2017 war sie mit dem evangelischen Pfarrer Michael Göring verheiratet, mit dem sie zwei Kinder hat. Nach fast drei Jahrzehnten ging ihre Ehe jedoch zu Ende. Trotz der Trennung blieben beide ihrer gemeinsamen Geschichte und ihrer Familie verbunden. Heute setzt Göring-Eckardt ihren politischen Weg mit unermüdlichem Engagement fort und bleibt eine zentrale Figur in der deutschen Umwelt- und Sozialpolitik.
