Der Sänger Menowin Fröhlich trat im Jahr 2005 erstmals ins Rampenlicht, als er an der beliebten Fernsehcasting-Show „Deutschland sucht den Superstar” teilnahm. Fröhlich konnte die Jury und das Publikum schon damals von seinem Talent überzeugen, doch zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatte er Probleme mit der Justiz, und musste seine Musikkarriere aufgrund einer Verhaftung unterbrechen. 2010 kehrte er allerdings zu „DSDS” zurück, und sang sich diesmal bis ins Finale. Obwohl Menowin einige erfolgreiche Platten aufnehmen konnte, lebt der sechsfache Vater heute von Hartz vier. Menowin hat heute mit Drogenproblemen zu kämpfen, und es gelang ihm nicht, mit dem durch die Musik verdienten Geld umzugehen.
