In 2008, Juan Martin Del Potro, Argentina’s top tennis player, took home his first ATP title from Germany, when he won the Stuttgart Open. But he didn’t just take home the title; Mercedes Benz, the tournament’s sponsor, gave him the car key to a brand-new and very exclusive white SLK 350. This roadster has a V5 engine with 305 hp. Back home though, he went to the local Argentine Mercedes-Benz office and swapped the white model for a black one. He gave it to Julie, his younger sister, for her 16th birthday. Ten years later at the US Open, Del Potro made it to a Grand Slam final for the second time.
