Tim fasste einen mutigen Entschluss. Wenn sich sonst niemand um die Sache kümmern wollte, musste er selbst ran. Etwas stimmte hier nicht, und er konnte nicht einfach wegsehen. Also machte er sich auf den Weg zurück zum Baum. Dort angekommen, suchte er die Umgebung gründlich ab. Jedes verdächtige Detail fiel ihm sofort ins Auge.
Mit seinem Handy knipste Tim Fotos von merkwürdigen Fußspuren und dem seltsamen Ding im Nest. Er war entschlossen, dem Geheimnis auf die Spur zu kommen – ganz allein, wenn es sein musste. Für Tim war klar: Das hier war kein gewöhnlicher Vorfall. Es war ein echtes Rätsel, und er würde nicht ruhen, bis er es gelöst hatte.
