Nicht länger gefangen im eigenen Körper
Für Lexi war ihr neues Körpergefühl die größte Veränderung in ihrem Leben. Sie erlebte eine Freiheit, die sie zuvor nicht gehabt hatte, und dafür war sie unglaublich dankbar. “Ich bin dankbar für jeden einzelnen Tag und genieße die Reise”, sagte sie mit einem Lächeln. Sie fügte hinzu, dass sie sich mehr auf die Zukunft freue als je zuvor.
“Jeder Tag ist ein kleiner Sieg und eine Erinnerung daran, wie weit ich gekommen bin. Ich habe mich selbst mit 220 Kilo geliebt, aber jetzt aufzuwachen, zu tun, was ich will, und zu gehen, wohin ich will… jetzt fühle ich mich nicht mehr wie ein Gefangener in meinem eigenen Körper.”
