Die Natur als Quelle der Energie
Mit der neuen Einstellung zu Bewegung entdeckten Lexi und Danny auch eine ganz neue Leidenschaft für die Natur. Lange Wanderungen oder sogar Klettertouren waren früher für sie unvorstellbar, doch jetzt verbrachten sie immer mehr Zeit draußen. Die Natur bot ihnen nicht nur körperliche Aktivität, sondern auch die Gelegenheit, sich von den alten, ungesunden Gewohnheiten zu verabschieden.
Es war ein wohltuendes Gefühl, nicht mehr abends die übliche Menge an Chips und Cola zu konsumieren. Stattdessen nutzten sie ihre Zeit, um die Natur zu genießen und ihre Kalorien auf natürliche Weise zu verbrennen. Heute sagt Lexi: “Die Zeit draußen zu verbringen ist das Beste, was wir für uns tun können.”
