Der Wendepunkt in ihrem Leben
Ihr Leben änderte sich komplett, als Lexi Danny kennenlernte, der nicht nur ihr Partner, sondern auch ihr bester Freund wurde. Als sie ihm schließlich von den Herausforderungen mit dem Übergewicht und ihrem scheinbar aussichtslosen Kampf mit den Kilos erzählte, reagierte Danny nicht nur verständnisvoll, sondern war sofort bereit, sie auf ihrem Weg zu unterstützen.
Zu diesem Zeitpunkt wusste er jedoch noch nicht, wie sehr Lexi unter ihrem Körpergewicht tatsächlich litt. Danny konnte ihre Situation sehr gut verstehen, denn auch er hatte seine eigenen Schwierigkeiten mit seinem Gewicht. Er war nicht gerade ein Vorbild in Sachen gesunde Ernährung oder Bewegung und führte einen eher gemütlichen Lebensstil.
