S** Pistols – God Save the Queen | $15K
The group, S** Pistols, was one of the most controversial bands to have ever step foot in the music industry. Their behavior was often erratic and their lives were filled with excess, drugs, and conflict with their record labels. Such problems led to the end of their relationship with their label A&M.
After A&M terminated the contract, it proceeded to destroy all records of the band’s newest album, God Save the Queen. However, before all copies were destroyed, a few employees rescued some of them. One of these surviving copies was sold for over $15K in 2019.
