Their liberal sentiments notwithstanding, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw have a broad and diverse fan base. The couple entertained some of their fans in the armed forces community when they appeared at Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 2003. Besides exercising their patriotism, Faith and Tim had some personal stock in the visit, as a friend of Faith’s and her army chaplain husband were stationed at the base. Military causes are also close to Tim’s heart; he has helped hundreds of veterans avoid mortgage debt by working with Operation Homefront, a foundation that provides vets with mortgage-free homes.
