When their schedule allows, Tim and Faith take the time to appreciate several holiday customs. In a 2007 interview, Faith told Good Housekeeping that the whole family likes to watch a rotating selection of Christmas movies like The Family Stone. She also gushed about Tim’s tradition of leaving personal notes in hers and the girls’ Christmas stockings. McGraw and Hill also like to use the holidays to extend their generosity to the less fortunate. In December 2016, they dispatched Tim’s mom, Betty, to her local Walmart on their behalf to offer some lucky customers a quick credit fix in the form of $5K in outstanding layaway payments.
