Tennis Players and Their Partners – Who Has The Perfect Match?
Maria Sharapova & Sasha Vujacic
Maria Sharapova met her partner in life (and in sports) in NBA star Sasha Vuja – a guard for the New Jersey Nets. The two started dating after they met at a barbecue in 2009 and after a year, Vujacic asked for her hand in marriage with a diamond ring worth $250K. Maria admitted that Sasha spoiled him with that band on her finger and she thought herself very lucky. However, Maria didn’t want to rush their union as she thought they were still very young. They broke up in 2012. Aside from tennis, Maria also keeps herself busy with the new program she’s launched in 2018 which aims to help women entrepreneurs.
