Val Kilmer – Top Gun
Val Kilmer shot to fame when he starred in “Top Gun” opposite Tom Cruise. he also had roles in ’80s films like “Top Secret!” and “Real Genius.” But he made his mark when he started playing real historical figures in biopics and true stories.
One of his most recognized roles was playing Jim Morrison, the lead singer of The Doors, in the 1991 film called “The Doors.” He played Elvis Presley in 1993’s “True Romance” and Doc Holliday in “Tombstone.” He also portrayed Batman/Bruce Wayne in “Batman Forever.” Although illness has diminished his ability to work, he still released a 2021 documentary called “Val.”
