Then Vs Now: Actor Who Prove That Change Is The Key To Success

Frances Conroy – Six Feet Under

Frances Conroy is probably best remembered as someone’s mother in either a film or series. She was the matriarch in the series “Six Feet Under” playing Ruth Fisher, and she was The Joker’s mother in the acclaimed 2019 film “Joker.” But she is also noted for the various characters she’s played in “American Horror Story” until 2021.

She played several characters, including the older version of Moira O’Hara in season one and Myrtle Snow in the fourth season. This role earned her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. She’s no stranger to awards, though, and for “Six Feet Under,” she won a Golden Globe and Screen Actor’s Guild award.
