Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka’s love story began in 2004 when they met through mutual friends. Their relationship became public in 2007, and their 2011 engagement revealed they had actually proposed to each other five years earlier. They tied the knot in September 2014 in a private ceremony in Italy, officiated by ”How I Met Your Mother” director Pamela Fryman, with Elton John performing at the reception.
The lovebirds have since embraced family life, celebrating milestones like their twins’ birthdays and sharing festive moments, such as their annual Halloween costumes. In 2024, David performed in a cabaret at 54 Below, directed by Neil, featuring appearances by their children.
