Chely Wright and Lauren Blitzer – Together Since 2009
Chely Wright and Lauren Blitzer’s love story began in 2009, just weeks after Chely publicly came out. Their connection was immediate, and by April 2011, they were engaged. The couple married on August 20, 2011, in an intimate ceremony at Lauren’s aunt’s home in Connecticut. Both brides chose not to wear veils, with Chely noting, “We like our hair too much!”
In May 2013, Chely and Lauren welcomed identical twin boys, George Samuel and Everett Joseph, named after their great-grandfathers. The family resides in New York City, where Lauren is Vice President of Business Development at Sony Music Entertainment, while Chely continues to engage in music and activism.
